Care Where It's Needed Most
Meeting People Where They Are. Building Care Where It's Missing.
Who We Are
Narrows Health Consulting is a Middle Tennessee-based healthcare consulting firm founded by clinicians who live and work in the communities they serve. Our name comes from the Narrows of the Harpeth — a site in Cheatham County where, in the early 1800s, enslaved people cut a tunnel through solid rock to create a passage where none had existed before. It is a place that reminds us that the hardest barriers can be moved, and that the people who do that work deserve to be seen. That history shapes how we approach our work. We partner with health systems, clinics, and community organizations to design and build accessible, integrated care pathways — particularly for people who have historically been left out of the healthcare system entirely.
Our expertise spans addiction medicine, psychiatric and behavioral health, primary care integration, maternal health and substance use in pregnancy, hepatitis C and infectious disease linkage to care, clinical program development, access strategy, and telehealth implementation. We bring particular focus to rural and underserved communities across Middle Tennessee and beyond — the places where gaps in care are widest and the need is greatest. We believe geography should never determine access to care. And we believe the people doing the hardest work in the hardest places deserve real support in building something sustainable.
